Demand Flock out of Richmond

Flock Safety is a private billionaire owned surveillance company whose cameras have raised some serious concerns about security, misuse, and civil liberties. These systems have proven easy to hack and vulnerable to unaccountable abuse by authorities. There exists a public website right now where anyone with a laptop can both access and modify 30 days worth of ALL Flock footage from every camera without a password. Flock cameras are constantly recording vehicles, conversations, and faces. These actions are a complete violation of peoples 4th amendment rights to unlawful search and seizure. These issues, among many others, have prompted hundreds of cities nationwide, including several in our commonwealth to cancel their contracts. Richmond should do the same.
