  I acknowledge and agree that my role with Sentinel Research & Policy Institute (SRPI) is strictly that of an unpaid volunteer. I understand that I am not an employee, contractor, agent, or representative of SRPI for any purpose. I further acknowledge that I am not entitled to wages, stipends, benefits, insurance coverage, reimbursement, or any form of compensation, now or in the future, as a result of my volunteer activities.

  I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in SRPI activities, including but not limited to research, writing, events, media participation, or remote collaboration. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree that SRPI, its officers, directors, members, volunteers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or harm I may suffer in connection with my volunteer activities, except where prohibited by law. I further agree that I am personally responsible for my actions and conduct while volunteering and will not hold SRPI liable for my own negligence, misconduct, or errors.

  I agree to conduct myself professionally and ethically while volunteering with SRPI. I understand that behavior which is offensive, discriminatory, abusive, unlawful, or otherwise inconsistent with SRPI’s mission, values, or reputation may result in immediate termination of my volunteer role. I acknowledge that SRPI may terminate this volunteer relationship at any time, with or without notice, for reasons including but not limited to conduct that reflects negatively on SRPI, its leadership, or its board of directors.
