Riverdel Woodlands Green Acres Survey
  • Riverdel Woodlands Green Acres Survey

  • The Township of Riverside has the opportunity to preserve open space at no cost to local taxpayers.

Riverside is applying for grant funding through the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Green Acres program to cover the cost of buying the Riverdel Woodlands property at South Fairview and Whittaker Streets, outlined in red on the map below. Delran Township also plans to purchase the forested land right next to this area, which would create one large woodland area for our communities. The Riverdel Woodlands is the only sizable natural forested area left in Riverside.

We are interested in your concerns, ideas and preferences for this plan. Thank you for taking this survey!
