     When you join a Black Barn Market, I am committed to promoting the event through social media, print ads, billboards, and other outreach to bring shoppers to our vendors. You’ll receive clear, consistent communication leading up to the market.

    On market day, I’ll be hands-on during setup and throughout the event to support vendors and ensure things run smoothly. My promise is a thoughtfully planned market where vendors feel confident, supported, and proud to be part of the Black Barn community.

    PROCESS:

    Complete this application and await an acceptance or regret email from dana@blackbarnmarkets.com 

    Returning Black Barn vendors and vendors who apply for all three markets will receive priority. A non-refundable 25% deposit will be due for all accepted vendors and balance must be paid 60 days prior to the market or you will lose your space.

    Upload photos of the products you plan to sell; at least one photo must show your booth setup. Photos are required and are used in the final selection process.

    In the booth description, list all items you intend to sell. Vendors offering items not listed or not approved will be required to remove those items on the day of the market.

    Submitting this application does not guarantee acceptance. Vendors are selected based on market needs, booth descriptions, and submitted photos. While we strive to limit similar vendors, exclusivity cannot be guaranteed.

    This application is for the Fall Market, you must fill out a separate application for the Summer and Holiday Markets.

    SET UP:

    Friday, October 9th 2pm-6pm and/or Saturday, October 10th 6am-9:30am

    If your booth is located in the yard, vehicles are able to pull directly up to booth space to set up on Friday only (provided there has been no rain). On Saturday, no vehicles are allowed to drive down the vending rows, you will have to park on the edge and unload. A cart or handtruck is recommended.

    Booths should be ready and cars moved to vendor parking in front of the black barn by 9:30am sharp on Saturday.

    GUIDELINES:

    1. Applications will be reviewed and the first round of acceptance/regret emails will go out in January. Applicants who apply for all 3 markets will receive notification earlier.

    2. Please be at the site by 9:30am Saturday and have your display completely ready. Please call Dana at 615-904-4676 if you are not able to make it on time.

    3.You are responsible for the cleanliness of your assigned space during the sale and before you leave. NO EARLY TEARDOWNS. Please do not begin packing up until 4pm or risk not being accepted into future markets.

    4. We would like all tables to be covered to the ground, if possible. This keeps a clean, neat appearance.

    5. This is an outdoor venue, the only covered space is the Toolshed, which is reserved for demonstrators. If your product is affected by outdoor weather conditions, we will not be held responsible for products melting and/or being ruined by weather. The October Market is typically warm.

    6. Spaces should be kept neat and clean during the sale hours. If your booth generates trash of any kind, please have a small receptacle for shoppers to use. We will have large trashcans placed throughout the venue. 

    7. You must provide your own tables/chairs/tents. This is an outdoor event in a grass/gravel area.  No electricity available to vendors in grass. Quiet generators are welcome but must be noted in your application.

    8. You will be invited to a private vendor Facebook group for questions and updates.

    9. Our market is all outdoors. It has a gravel driveway with booths located in the grass. The entire venue is on a slight slope. If your booth requires a 100% level space, this might not be the venue for you. Booths will be in grass except for the demonstrators in the Toolshed, this is a concrete area. Handtrucks and carts are recommended for loading and unloading.

    10. Vendor parking is located in front of the black barn at the venue entrance. It is a little bit of a walk, but we will have golf cart shuttles for you.

    Booth spaces are generously sized at 12'x12' for $90 and 12'x24' for $160. 
    Food trucks/trailer vendors are $160. 
    No refunds will be given for any reason. This is an outdoor event and will be held rain or shine.
     There is no raindate.

    PAYMENT INFO:

    An invoice will be sent to accepted vendors with a non-refundable deposit due within 15 days and the full balance due 60 prior to the market.
