Stud Inquiry/Contract

Terms:

• Remington's fee is $2500 (with a non-refundable $500 service fee deposit - remaining balance due when puppies are born).
• A prospective breeder wanting to breed to Remy will pay for professional collection and shipping fees (if not done side by side)
  
  • Knightstar is NOT responsible for loss of semen during shipping or late arrival.
• A 1-year guarantee - if only two live puppies are born, we will do a repeat breeding, where the girl's owner only pays the cost of shipping semen (if needed).
• Before being approved for the planned breeding, the owner must show proof of passing clearances for Hips and Elbows, and of DNA testing (proof of being Dilute-free).
• Unless using FROZEN SEMEN - To successfully breed using shipped semen, timing is the most important aspect. We emphasize that the girl undergoes an ovulation test. Results of progesterone testing in ng/ml are preferred. As you start the testing, we kindly ask that you keep in touch and let us know as soon as you have any results. This will support our collection and shipping plans.
• As the stud owners, we retain the right to refuse breeding at any time. A repeat may be refused under these circumstances:
  • Failure of timely notification of when bitch is in heat
  • Failure to pay the agreed-upon fees on the first breeding.
  • Failure to notify of no litter within one week after the due date.
• Any puppies produced are to be sold to dilute-free families or kennels (no breeding for dilute is allowed). Any puppies not retained by the breeder shall be sold as "Limited Registration".
• Payment Notes
  • Unless prior arrangements have been made, any remaining balances must be paid in full within 3 days of the litter being whelped.
  • Full payment must be made before signing off on litter registration.
