Hand-building Wavy Fluted Drape Bowls

Two parts:
Friday, October 16th from 2:00-5:00pm for building
Friday, October 23rd from 2:00-4:00 for glazing 

During the first class you will use the slab, hand-building technique to create functional wavy/fluted drape bowl(s). The number of bowls you can construct during the class depends on the size you make them & your skill level.
This will allow you to explore how the physical properties of clay - particularly thickness, size, moisture and pliability - affect the ability of a slab to support and maintain its intended form.
During the second class you will be glazing your bowl(s).

Fee: $99.00 for both classes and all materials needed

Hand-Building Clay Trees

Friday, November 13th from 3:00-5:00pm

Join Vanita in creating unique standing trees, handbuilt from clay!

Before leaving you will pick your glaze out so Vanita can glaze & fire them.

Please allow for a few weeks after your class for the items to be ready for pick up!

Fee: $45.00 covers class instructions & all materials needed.

Submission of this registration form reserves your spot in class.

If the class becomes more than half full, prepayment will be required to hold your space. Payment may be made in person or online through an invoice and must be completed at least 48 hours prior to the start of class.

If paying in person please make sure to select which class you are signing up for below.

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel, you must provide at least 7 days’ notice, regardless of whether you have prepaid or plan to pay in person. This policy allows the instructor to prepare supplies appropriately and ensures that spaces are available for others.

Cancellations made with less than 7 days’ notice or failure to attend will result in full payment being due, and an invoice will be issued.

Email info@can-nc.org with any questions, concerns, or to receive a refund prior to the 7-day policy if prepaid.
