  • Growing Homes is seeking farmers to join the pilot Farmer NEST Advocacy Fellowship (NEST stands for the Farmer Network for Equitable Shelter & Tenure), a hands-on, cohort-based program empowering Hudson Valley farmers to lead housing advocacy and policy change. This is your chance to skill up and help create affordable, stable, and dignified housing solutions for farmers and farmworkers across the region.

    No prior advocacy experience is required—what matters most is your perspective, your community involvement, and your interest in learning and leading.

    Application Process:

    • Complete this interest from. We value intentional, reflective responses and have designed the application to be completed in about one hour.
    • Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
    • Selected applicants will be invited for a 30-minute interview

    Timeline:

    • Application Opens on December 26, 2025
    • Application Closes on January 16, 2026
    • Notify Accepted Fellows by January 21, 2026
    • Orientation on January 28, 2028
