2026 Plymouth Aero Club Scholarship Application

The Plymouth Aero Club intends to award up to two (2) $3,000 aviation scholarships in 2026. Scholarship funds are raised annually by the club through its air show, fundraising events, aviation educational programming, and member donations. The application deadline is June 30, 2026. Recipients will be notified on or about September 30, 2026, and the award(s) will be presented in-person at the club's Annual Meeting in October 2026. In order to be eligible for consideration, a candidate must: (a) be at least 16 years of age on October 1, 2026; (b) reside in Plymouth County (MA) or have an active association with Plymouth Municipal Airport (KPYM), such as enrollment in flight training at KPYM, enrollment in aviation-related education at KPYM or that frequents KPYM, or be employed at or conduct business at KPYM; and, (c) submit a complete application by 11:59pm ET, June 30, 2026. Applications will be reviewed by a committee of Plymouth Aero Club members and judged according to accomplishment, commitment to the pursuit of aviation and involvement in Plymouth's aviation community, and financial need. The committee may follow-up with the candidate or their references to confirm eligibility. Please take care to submit signed letters of recommendation. The scholarship(s) are awarded at the committee's discretion to students currently and actively pursuing primary or advanced flight training, Aviation Maintenance Technician (A&P) training, or Aviation Management.
