WIDOWS TEA VOLUNTEERS

Each year, we host a tea luncheon for widows that includes tea sandwiches, salad and tea (cream and sugar). Sign up here to (1) host a table of 8, (2) serve tables, (3) clean up and/or (4) help with hospitality / food preparation. JOIN US SUNDAY, january 18 after 3rd service (1pm) in the Upper Room to learn more about Volunteering for this year's Widows Tea. PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION FOR TABLE HOSTESSES:
Able to provide a setting for 8, including tea cups and saucers, lunch plates and silverware, water glasses, napkins, tier(s) for sandwiches and sweets. Optional: Provide a small gift for each guest to take home (a handwritten card, a bookmark, or flowers). Many also bake and provide scones, and additional sweets for their guests.

DECORATING: Friday, February 27 between 12pm - 6pm.

HOSTING: Saturday, February 28. Arrive at 9am to finish up any decorating or to place your additional treats on your table. Doors open at 10:30am.

CLEAN-UP: We have a small sink in our kitchen, so you won't be not able to wash and dry your tea settings at our church. Please wipe them down and bring them home to wash. Thank you so much for your understanding and for hosting a table.
