Guidelines for Soup Cook Off
Bring 2 1/2 gallons or more of hot soup (enough to serve a tast test to 200+ hungry people) and a ladle or serving utensil. Contestants will be provided a table, cups, spoons, and crackers. Decorations are encouraged to attract attention to your soup. Please bring your own crock-pot to keep soup warm and an extension cord. The community center will be open at 4:30 PM for decorating and setting up tables for contestants. All contestants should be ready to serve by 5:25. Plaques are given for the top three soups, and the best decorated table as chosen by the public. "Best Tasting Soup" is awarded by a celebrity judge. Votes will be counted at 7:00 PM and awards ceremony will be at 7:30 PM.
