  • 2026-2027 NACURH Affiliation Form

  • Please Read Before Completing!

This is the 2026-2027 Affiliation Form for the National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH). If you know nothing about this and would like more information or to schedule an introductory meeting, email affiliation@nacurh.org and chair@nacurh.org for more information!

This form and payment are due by October 15th, 2026 in order to seamlessly maintain access to NACURH services. After that date, unaffiliated insitutions will have their access removed until they affiliate once again.

If an institution is hosting a member of NACURH Leadership, this form and payment are due by October 1st, 2026 in order to continue in their role. If there are concerns about meeting this deadline, please email affiliation@nacurh.org and chair@nacurh.org.

Please note: This is the only form to complete for NACURH Affiliation. It covers both RHA and NRHH information, so it is recommended to fill it out with representatives from both organizations. This form must be completed and approved and the affiliation fee paid before affiliation is considered complete.

If you have further questions about the process or have a specific question not covered in the guide, please reach out to the NACURH Associate for Administration at affiliation@nacurh.org.

  • Individual Affiliation Form

Individual Membership allows members to access NACURH’s resources and services on an individual basis. It does not grant access to chapter services such as the OTM database and chapter merchandise. The individual must be attending a non-affiliated institution.
  • Institutional Affiliation Information

  • Contact Information

NCC: The purpose of National Communication Coordinators (NCC) within NACURH is to provide leadership as their institution’s primary contact person, and to serve as a liaison between the campus, regional, and NACURH level. NCCs shall represent and vote on behalf of their campus representative student governing unit in NACURH and regional business meetings.

Advisor: Please list as least one advisor that will be the main advisor contacr for your institution. There will be space below to add additional advisors and to specify which advisors are for RHA or NRHH. The NCC and Main Advisor email(s) will be where the Invoice to pay for affiliation will be sent.

  • Campus OTM Administrators: Since OTMs are a service provided to all of NACURH and administered by the NRHH side of regional and NACURH Leadership, every institution regardless of if they host an NRHH Chapter or not can (and should!) participate with OTMs!

For institutions with an NRHH Chapter, include the student or advisor who will complete the monthly OTM process (e.g. Vice President for Recognition, Recognition Chair, OTM Chair, etc.).

For institutions without an NRHH, this could be the NCC, RHA Advisor, or another RHA Executive Board member who will be the campus contact regarding OTMs.

Please provide an institutional contact for OTM communication purposes. NRHH Regional and NACURH Leadership will be in contact to support your campus OTM process!

  • OTM Database Account: Some instutitons may opt to utilize a shared email account so that multiple people can access the OTM Database for Administrative features, such as submitting campus OTM winners to the regional level, seeing individual accounts for the institution, and accessing institutional OTM participation data.

If the email you would like to have OTM Administrator access in the OTM Database is different from the Campus OTM Administrator's email, please indicate that email below.

  • Please note: We recognize that some member insitutions do not call their student housing organizations 'Residence Hall Associations' (RHAs). We use the word 'RHA' and 'RHA President' throughout this form since that is what NACURH policy officially calls all affiliated student housing organizations as well as their representatives.

  • RHA President: The purpose of RHA Presidents within NACURH is to share, and gain, perspectives and ideas for the benefit of their campus representative governing unit through the unique network NACURH provides. RHA Presidents may utilize conferences, or other NACURH resources, as opportunities to engage in collaborative learning and development for themselves and their governing unit.

The RHA President is a NACURH regional representative position outlined in NACURH policy (similar to an NCC). Please put down the name of the person who will be serving as the RHA President on the regional/NACURH level.

  • NRHH Representative: The purpose of NRHH Representatives within NACURH is to provide leadership as advocates for their campus NRHH Chapter, and to serve as a liaison for NRHH at the campus, regional, and NACURH level. NRHH Representatives shall represent and vote on behalf of their NRHH Chapter in NACURH and regional business meetings.

The NRHH Representative is a NACURH regional representative position outlined in NACURH policy (similar to an NCC). While it is often the NRHH President, it does not have to be. Please put down the name of the person who will be serving as the NRHH Representative on the regional/NACURH level.

If you have any questions regarding NRHH, please contact your regional Associate Director for NRHH (ADNRHH) or the NACURH Associate for NRHH (NAN). All NRHH Leadership emails can be found on this page of the NRHH website: https://www.nrhh.nacurh.org/contact.

  • Recognition & Service Information

NRHH has two Values: Recognition and Service. At the NACURH-level, NRHH has definitions (see below) for Recognition and Service for Chapters to use as inspiration. The following questions will help us better understand how our chapters are engaging with these values.
  • Recognition means acknowledging the contributions of individuals, groups, and programs making an impact on the broader environment. Recognition is an active process requiring dedicated community involvement to highlight accomplishments, provide encouragement, and extend appreciation for the effort contributed to improving the community.

Service means taking an active role in transforming and building a positive community. Service can be performed in a myriad of ways and requires communal and individual involvement without expecting anything in return. Service is both promoted and performed through scalable, adaptable, and intentional methods to support any community from local to global.

  • What Recognition opportunities does your NRHH Chapter engage with?*
  • NRHH Requirements

  • Please note: NRHH chapters differ from RHA (or equivalant) organizations since NRHH chapters are a branch of the national NRHH organization. In order to be an NRHH chapter, you must meet all of the following requirements:
