Weight Check and Disqualification Policy

• All athletes *must weigh in with their Gi on* before their first match.
• The official weigh-in will be done on the event scale only, and that reading is final.
• There is no weight allowance for any division.
• Your official weight (with Gi) must not exceed the maximum limit of your selected weight class, even by 0.1 kg.
• If you do not make weight for your registered division, you will be immediately disqualified from the division.
• You will not be moved up or down to another weight class on the day.
• No refunds or transfers will be provided.
• IBJJF Ruleset will be followed for this event
• It is the athlete's responsibility to be on weight with Gi before arriving at the event.
• Competitors are strongly advised to check their weight beforehand and allow for the extra weight of the Gi.
• Any athlete who appears unfit to compete due to illness may be refused participation for safety reasons.

Waiver and Release of Liability

By signing below, you acknowledge and agree that Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and grappling are contact sports involving inherent risks, including the risk of serious injury or death. You understand and accept full responsibility for these risks and agree that you will not hold Espada Studio (Wristlock Company Limited), its owners, staff, coaches, referees, volunteers, or agents liable for any loss, damage, injury, or loss of life, or for any loss or damage to personal property arising from your participation in this event, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
