Session Overview
This private or semi-private firearms safety session is designed for beginner and intermediate shooters who want to build confidence through safe, responsible firearm handling while developing practical, repeatable skills.
The session will cover the following core areas:
• Universal Firearms Safety Rules
A practical review of the universal firearm safety rules with emphasis on muzzle awareness, trigger discipline, firearm condition checks, and maintaining a safe environment at all times.
• Range Etiquette
Instruction on standard range procedures, commands, and expectations to ensure a safe and respectful experience for all shooters and range staff.
• Safe Weapon Handling & Manipulations
Hands-on instruction covering safe loading and unloading procedures, chamber checks, and basic firearm manipulations, scaled appropriately to the shooter’s experience level.
• Principles of Marksmanship
Instruction on the core principles of effective shooting, including proper stance, grip, body positioning, recoil management, trigger control, and shot cadence. Students will be taught how accuracy and speed are interconnected, and how to apply appropriate pacing based on context while maintaining safety and control.
This session is ideal for new shooters looking for a strong foundation as well as intermediate shooters seeking to refine their fundamentals in a safe, practical, and performance-based setting.
