  • Who may apply? Barking Rabbit Art Collective invites all artists 18 and older residing in the Southern California Region to apply to our first annual open theme show, Locally Sourced. 

    Location: 2270 Venice Blvd, Los Angeles, CA (START LA) 

    Show Date: May 30, 2026

    Fees: $15 to submit up to 3 artworks. Student Discount available for currently enrolled students and 2025 graduates. Submittion of artwork does not guarantee acceptance into show. As such, all fees are non-refundable.

     

  • Artwork Requirements! 

    • All visual mediums accepted as long as they are stable and safe to hang. Hung Artwork cannot exceed 20lbs, 2D Artwork cannot exceed the dimensions of 40"W x 90"tall.
    • All artwork must be hang ready- Artwork on paper must be framed with sawtooth hook or D rings attached to back of frame. ALL Canvas works MUST have hanging wire attached. Absolutely NO command strips or thumb tacks!
    • Wall hanging sculptural and 3D artwork cannot exceed 20 lbs and cannot exceed the dimensions of 24”L x 24”W x 24”H. Free standing Sculptural Artwork should not exceed the dimensions of 24”L x 24”W x 24”H, cannot exceed 20 lbs and must be placed on a plain white gallery style pedestal. Pedestals will not be provided by the event.
    • No hate speech or obscenely violent work will be allowed.
    • AI “art” or work made with AI assistance will not be considered.

  • All accepted artwork must be dropped off in-person at a scheduled time on the day of the event and all work must be taken home by artist at the end of the night. Artwork left behind will be considered forfeit and ours to keep (muahahaha!)
