    This form will serve as a permission slip for Ka Waihona and/or GROUND TRANSPORT INC. to provide bus transportation for Ka Waihona students "to and/or from" Ka Waihona o ka Naauao PCS during the Second Semester (Jan. 6 - May 28, 2026) of the school year.

    Approximate times listed.

    Morning Service:

    Bus departs from Waiʻanae Boat Harbor at 6:45am
    Bus departs from Maʻili Beach Park at 7:00am

     

      *Breakfast will be available for bus riders upon arrival to campus

    Afternoon Service:

    Bus departs Ka Waihona at 2:40pm
    Arrives Waiʻanae Mall at 3:00pm 
    Arrives Waiʻanae Boat Harbor at 3:15pm 

     

    **Please pay close attention to Drop off and Pick up locations, as they are different.

  • Selection made above will constitute the transportation for the student(s) listed.

    CHANGES TO LOCATION ARE NOT PERMITTED

  • This Bus Service is provided as a convenience for Ka Waihona studentsʻ families. This is a privilege for our students. We expect all students to be safe, responsible & respectful when using this service.

    BUS RULES

    GETTING ON THE BUS

    • No Bullying
    • Stay away from traffic
    • No roughhousing it may lead to injury or accidents
    • line up as the school bus approaches
    • Wait until bus stops & door opens to enter bus
    • Use handrails as you get on the bus
    • Greet the bus driver (ex: Good Morning or Afternoon)

    BEHAVIOR ON BUS

    • No Bullying
    • Find a seat and sit down
    • No loud talking or other noise
    • Keep aisles clear
    • No roughhousing
    • Remain in their seats when bus is in motion
    • Keep hands and head in windows at all times
    • No eating or drinking on bus
    • Electronic device usage (i.e. cell phones, ipads, ipods, etc.) is not permitted on bus
    • School code of conduct is in effect while using bus service

    GETTING OFF BUS

    • No Bullying
    • When bus stops, stand & exit the bus
    • Thank the bus driver
    • Use the handrail
    • Do not cross the street in front of the bus
    • Wait till bus leaves to cross the street
    • Stay away from the rear wheels of the bus

    CONSEQUENCES OF MISBEHAVIOR

     1st Offense Sent to Conselor & Parent notified
     2nd Offense Parent meeting & 2 day suspension of bus priviledge
     3rd Offense 2 week Bus suspension
     4th Offense  Removal of Bus priviledge
    • I agree to allow my Child(ren) listed above to travel via school bus driven by an employee of Ka Waihona and/or Ground Transport Inc.
    • I also agree "my child(ren) will follow all School and Bus Rules" and understand the consequences of not following the rules.
