There is no gambling, drug or alcohol allowed except for communion wine.
There will be a walk-thru with a church representative after the event has finished.
Tables can be set up by the Church but decoration of said table are the responsibility of the renter and said decorations must met the guidelines set out below.
No movement of the piano allowed without a church representative in attendance.
We/I have read the attached/provided regulations under which rental use is granted and agree to abide by those rules.

CONDITIONS AND GUIDELINES FOR USE OF CHURCH FACILITIES:
1. APPLICATION:
a. To be completed by person representing the group/organization or person using facilities.
b. To be approved by one of the following:
i. Church Council (simple majority) for occasional use and for regular/ongoing user.
ii. Pastor or occasional use
iii. Council Chair for occasional use
c. To be completed and submitted in sufficient time to allow schedules to be checked (at least one month)
d. Booking is to be done through the office administrator
e. In the event of conflict or space usage, priority will be given to an event being scheduled by a member of the church.
2. PERTINENT INFORMATION:
a. Permission to use the facilities will be granted only when it is agreed that:
i. It does not interfere with regular church program
ii. The building must be vacated no later than 11:00 p.m.
iii. All aisles and exits will be kept clear
iv. Telephone use will be restricted to local calls only
v. Any entertainment is to be of high moral value and has been approved according to the church mission and constitution
vi. Confetti, rice, etc. NOT TO BE USED INSIDE OR OUTSIDE THE CHURCH
vii. Decorations must be easily removed and meet the approval of the church representative. No glue or paint on any surfaces of the church.
viii. Pews may not be removed
ix. Piano in sanctuary can only be used under the supervision of the church representative
b. There will be no smoking, drug or alcohol use on the premises.
c. Council must give approval for any fundraising activities and reserves the right to charge additional fees.
d. Banners, Plants, Gift and Donations:
i. Must be approved by the Altar Guild in consultation with Pastor or Council Chair before being placed in the Sanctuary
ii. If said banners, plants, gifts and donations are left behind, the congregation becomes the sole owner of all such gifts and memorials with complete control over usage.
3. RESPONSIBILITY OF USER:
a. User (s) will be responsible for any loss or damage to the building or equipment resulting from the use by the user or any other person covered by the application and/or attending the event. A statement by the Pastor, Chair or Church Representative for said Event shall be evidence of such loss or damages, and the user shall pay the amount of such loss or damage on demand.
b. The user(s) agree that Erickson Lutheran Church shall not be liable for any loss, costs or damages by the user or user's agents and/or guests resulting from the use of the premises.
c. A user(s), user's agent or user's guest causing such damage or loss and/or violating these regulations may be asked to immediately leave the church premises and will be denied further se of Church Facilities.
4. USAGE:
a. Please have the contact person or applicant become familiar to additional rules when using the facilities.
b. The applicant or contact person must do an
initial walk-thru
with the church representative prior to the event to acquaint themselves with the location of all exits, first aid boxes, fire extinguishers, proper usage of elevator etc.
c. Aside from bathroom usage,
please use only the areas you rented.
d.
No food or drink is allowed in the sanctuary

e. Please do not go into any cupboards or rooms that have not been designated for your use by the church representative. The Church will ensure that any material and equipment used by the congregation in that room will be put away prior to your use.
f.
Dishes must be washed in accordance with the guidelines of the Manitoba Department of Health
which will be addressed during the initial walk-thru noted herein
5. WHEN LEAVING THE FACILITY
a. A final walk-thu needs to be done with church representative prior to leaving to ensure that:
i. all the debris, garbage and packaging picked up or clean up
ii. all the toilets been flushed and clean
iii. all counter tops and sinks been wiped off
iv. all areas been left as neat and tidy as when you found them
v. all the lights been shut off
vi. all the doors been locked and double-checked
vii. all food, decorations and other items brought by you been removed
viii. and all dishes have been washed as noted in 5(f) and put away
PLEASE ENSURE THAT EVERYTHING IS LEFT THE SAME WAY YOU FOUND THE FACILITIES.
