    Previously known as the Arts Affair Exhibit, the Syd Arts Collective is TCA’s signature annual exhibit celebrating the creativity and talent of local artists. Unlike other exhibits, this showcase has no set theme, focusing instead on the celebration of the artists and their work across all mediums. Artists are encouraged to submit work that represents their vision, style, and skill, and to celebrate the rich talent of our local art community.

    New Registration Process:

    In past years, submissions involved two separate forms: an application and a registration. This year, we’ve combined them into a single form with a $50 registration fee.

    All artwork for this exhibit is juried, so if your submission is not selected, you will receive a full refund of your registration fee.

    Sales & Commission:

    Most TCA exhibits require a 30% sales commission on sold artwork; however, this exhibit will require only 15%.

    Prizes:

    This exhibit will feature cash awards recognizing outstanding artistic achievement. Awards will be presented in the following categories:

    • Best in Show: $200
    • First Place (3D):$100
    • First Place (3D): $100
    • Second Place (2D): $50
    • Second Place (2D): $50

    Award recipients will be announced during Arts Affair. Prize checks will be available for pickup during the scheduled artwork pickup period following the exhibit.

    Timeline:

    • The Submission deadline: September 25th, 2026
    • Juried art notification: October 5th
    • Art Dropoff: October 28th & 29th | 4-6pm
    • Art Pickup: November 12th | 4-6pm

    ELIGIBILITY

    • Artist must be 18 years or older.
    • All work must be original and handmade by the artist. Absolutely no imports, kits, sip and paint, patterns, or reproductions.
    • All artwork should be recent (within the past 3 years).
    • No artwork previously submitted to the former Arts Affair exhibit is eligible.
    • Acceptable media are paintings, drawings, photography, pottery, printmaking, jewelry (original, handcrafted), blown glass, sculpture, handmade paper weaving, baskets, wood working. Our exhibition space cannot accommodate textile art for this show.

    The Tifton Council for the Arts reserves the right to waive any of these requirements as warranted by specific circumstances.

    Consider the following when filling out the form below:

    • Images submitted must represent the specific works being considered for exhibition. Substitutions will not be permitted. 
    • Accurate sizes help our exhibits committee pre-plan the amount of hanging panels needed and determine the layout for the exhibit prior to your arrival.
    • The information you provide will be used to create Title Cards that will be on display with your pieces.
