    On behalf of RLH Pageants Unlimited and the Cincinnati Black Theatre Company, we would like to congratulate you on your achievement of being selected as a contestant for the 2026 Miss Black Cincinnati Pageant.

    Our objectives in producing a pageant of this status are to promote and display young ladies in their poise, visual appearance, intellect, and talent. Additionally, to help encourage young women to walk with their heads held high and have respect for themselves in all phases throughout their life. This will help you to be more positive and to project a better image for the young ladies of today.

    Each contestant shall learn to look upon themselves as a bestower of their overall beauty and light. All contestants should further learn to look upon themselves as complete person, who can develop their potential to the highest degree.

    It is our hope you will be confident and poised, not because of arrogance or the need to fight off fear, but because you will know your true values as an assessment of your strengths and your talents.

    Our objectives in producing a pageant of this status are to promote and display

    for themselves in all phases throughout their life. This will help you to be more
    positive and to project a better image for the young ladies of today.

  • I,  *   *certify to the Miss Black Cincinnati and Miss Black Teen Cincinnati Pageant, I am between the ages of 13-17 and 18-24 before the final Miss Black Cincinnati and Miss Black Teen Cincinnati Pageant 2026.
    •I am single, have never been married, nor have I had a marriage annulled, nor
    have I been divorced.
    • I have never conceived a child.
    • I certify that I will not become pregnant and/or married during my reign as
    Miss Black Cincinnati or Miss Black Teen Cincinnati.
    • I am of good moral character.
    • I understand if I am elected Miss Black Cincinnati or Miss Black Teen Cincinnati
    and for any reason, I am unable to keep the engagements committed for me on
    behalf, RLH Pageants Unlimited and the Cincinnati Black Theatre Company
    reserves the right to take the reigning title away. The first runner-up or to
    whoever is eligible for said title.
    • I certify that I am not under contract to any personal manager or agent and
    understand that I will not be authorized to hire a personal manager or agent
    for the duration of being Miss Black Cincinnati or Miss Black Teen Cincinnati,
    and I grant RLH Pageants Unlimited and the Cincinnati Black Theatre Company
    the "Power of Attorney" to enter into contracts and make commitments on my
    behalf to other parties.
    • I understand that in the event I win the title Miss Black Cincinnati or Miss Black
    Teen Cincinnati, the title belongs to RLH Pageants Unlimited and the Cincinnati
    Black Theatre Company. I am only holding the title until the next Miss Black
    Cincinnati or Miss Black Teen Cincinnati Pageant winner is selected.
    • I understand that during the year of my reign, if I am elected Miss Black
    Cincinnati or Miss Black Teen Cincinnati, I cannot endorse, make appearances,
    advertise, or take photographs with or for any products, institutions,
    organizations, or persons without written permission from RLH Pageants
    Unlimited and the Cincinnati Black Theatre Company.
    • I understand that when I affix my signature to the foot of this agreement
    hereof (or if I am under the age of 18) and my parents or legal guardian affixes
    his or her signature to the foot of this agreement hereof). I am contracted and
    committed to abide by the rules and regulations of the Miss Black Cincinnati
    Contestant's Rules and Guidelines. I certify that I have read, understand, and
    meet the requirements of all the above stipulations and have made all true
    statements in this application's agreements.
    • I, and my parents or guardian (if applicable), have indicated our understanding
    of the foregoing by affixing my/or signature (s) in the place indicated, where
    upon this document became a binding agreement between me, RLH Pageants
    Unlimited and The Cincinnati Black Theatre Company.

  • SOCIAL MEDIA-ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS CONDUCT POLICY

    Social Media – Electronic Communications Conduct Policy
    Furthermore, all social media outlets will be reviewed for offensive and inappropriate
    content. i.e., any subject matter that is unbecoming of a young lady or goes against the
    spirit of RLH Pageant Unlimited organization. The use of profanity, content of sexual
    nature, and any form of bullying will not be tolerated.

    If such content is found on any social media or electronic outlet, the contestant will be
    given 48 hours to remove content. A written and verbal notice will be given to
    participant. Upon the conclusion of the 48-hour period, if any content of the
    inappropriate nature described above has not been removed from social media outlets,
    the contestant will forfeit her right to participate in the MBC & MBTC Pageant.
    Contestant will not be entitled to refunds of any sort. NO REFUNDS
    It shall also be noted, if infringement occurs again, after the initial misconduct via
    social media, participant will forfeit her right to participate in the MBC & MBTC
    Pageant under the discretion of RLH Pageant Unlimited & The Cincinnati Black
    Theatre Company.
    Should any infringement of the social media policy be found or brought to the
    attention of RLH Pageant Unlimited and The Cincinnati Black Theatre Company
    after crowning of Miss Black Cincinnati or Miss Black Teen Cincinnati Pageant a
    similar policy will ensue.
    The Pageant organization reserves the right to immediately remove any pageant
    participant and/or winner if the infringement is deemed severe. In the case of reigning
    member, the procedure outlined in the rules and regulations should followed to
    appoint her replacement.

    Personal Interview 

    Each contestant shall be judged on expression, projection, interview technique,
    diction, clarity, personality, intelligence, and general
    appearance. 

    Talent 

    Each contestant shall be judged on the degree of excellence by which the contestant performs in her natural ability and degree of difficulty

    Evening 

    Each contestant shall be judged on gown selection, color coordination, style, poise, posture, and ability to walk gracefully

    Projection (Impromptu Question) 

    Each contestant shall be judged on articulation, wit, intelligence, straight, quick, and logical answer in a specific question

     

    Should there be a tie after the end of the judging competition, then the following will take action:

     

    First tie breaker: Contestant scoring the highest in Personal Interview should be
    judged the winner
    Second tie breaker: Contestant scoring the highest in Projection Interview
    should be judged the winner
    Third tie breaker: Contestant scoring the highest in Talent Interview should be
    judged the winner
    Fourth tie breaker: Contestant scoring the highest in Evening Interview should be
    judged the winner
    Final tie breaker: Each judge will cast one vote for 1st place winner

  • Talent Presentation Checklist

  • Always bring items to rehearsal and prepared for talent rehearsal. Bring props and
    items for presentation. Talent will be performed by contestant.

    Talent must not exceed 3 minutes and meet approval by Mr. Avery Hammonds
