· Must have a 3.0 grade point average or higher from high school on a five-point scale.
· Students eligible for scholarships must live within the CCISD/FISD boundaries but may attend other schools outside of these boundaries.
Conditions Under Which Scholarship Is Granted:
· Scholarships will be $2,000 per semester, $4,000 a year, for two (2) years (total of $8,000).
· Consideration will be given to recipients based on financial need.
· If a scholarship recipient accepts more than $11,000 a year or $30,000 for four (4) years from additional scholarships, university/college fee/tuition waivers, or federal or state grants, then a scholarship will not be awarded, and a replacement candidate will receive that recipient’s scholarship.
· Scholarship recipients must be enrolled for 12 hours a semester and achieve a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 in the first year to receive the second-year scholarship installment.
· Recipients will be given the scholarship upon verification of acceptance into an accredited college or university, and the scholarship will be paid in $2,000 installments for the fall and spring semesters of each year.
· Failure to submit the required reapplication documents within the designated submission periods—July 15 to August 31 for the fall semester and December 15 to January 31 for the spring semester—will result in the forfeiture of your scholarship for that semester, and you will be placed on probation for that term.

· The Lunar Rendezvous Festival Advisory Board will determine the number of scholarships awarded each year.
