    Please list one contact emergency who we may contact in the event you the child's parent or legal guardian cannot be reached. i.e. Nanny, an adult family member or relative.

  • Terms and Conditions

  • 1. Registration & Payment

    • A completed registration form and full payment are required to secure a spot.
    • Upon submition of your child's registration form, an invoice will be emailed to you. 
    • Upon receipt of the entire program fee, a place confirmation for your child will be emailed to you, including further program information.
    • When registering a sibling, a 10% discount will be applied.
    • Spaces are limited to 8 children a day and are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

    2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

    • The amount is 100% refundable until two weeks before the start of the program. A 25% refund will be given in the event of cancellations with less than two weeks notice. 
    • No refunds or credits will be issued for missed days due to illness, holidays, or other absences.
    • All cancellations need to be made in writing by emailing, Zenaida Féraud at info@100storiesatelier.ch 
    • 100 Stories, L'Atelier reserves the right to cancel sessions due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund or transfer will be offered.
    • By registering, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the cancellation and refund policy.

    3. Health & Safety

    • Parents must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs during registration.
    • In the event of illness or emergency, program leaders will first contact the child's parents or legal guardian, and then the designated emergency contact should a parent or legal guardian not be reached.
    • If a child is ill (e.g., fever, vomiting, contagious illness), they should not attend the program until they are 24 hours fever free without the use of fever reducing medication.
    • Minor first aid (e.g., band-aids, ice packs) may be administered unless otherwise stated in writing.
    • When registering your child, you consent to daily walks, local outings to the playground and forest and one full day trip a week that will require using public transportation.
    • On sunny days, sun cream will be applied to the children. For forest excursions, tick spray will be applied. If children use a specific sun cream or tick spray, they must be presented to the program leaders, labeled with their child's name.
    • Parents will be informed the day before of a planned forest excursion so that children can come dressed in appropriate forest attire. 

    4. Drop-Off & Pick-Up

    • An extended care option is available until 5:00pm for an additional CHF 20. 
    • Parents must inform the program leaders if their child walks to and from the program.
    • Only individuals listed on the registration form will be permitted to pick up the child unless written permission is provided.

    6. Personal Belongings

    • Children should not bring valuables, electronics, or toys to the program. As well as art projects, children have opportunities to play with our materials and the toys within the Atelier space. 

    7. Media 

    • Unless otherwise indicated in writing by a parent/legal guardian, photos of the children may be taken but will only be used to communicate and sent to parents directly. Photos of your child in our summer program, will not be posted on our website, social media or used for marketing material.
    • Unless otherwise indicated in writing by a parent/legal guardian, photos of the children's art pieces and projects (including during free play), may be taken. These photos may appear on our website, social media or used for promotional use for future events. 

    9. Program Changes

    • Program Leaders reserve the right to last minute changes in the daily program due to weather or unforseen circumstances (staff illness) in order to maintain a safe, fun and enriching summer program.

    10. Safeguarding & Child Protection

    At 100 Stories, L'Atelier, the safety and well-being of every child in our care is our highest priority. To ensure a safe, nurturing environment:

    • Both program leaders working with children are certified teachers and have undergone background checks in Switzerland within the past year.
    • Both program leaders are First Aid and CPR certified in Switzerland 
    • Two program leaders will supervise children at all times including inside the atelier space and whilst on excursions to local playgrounds and the forest. On full-day and forest excursions, a third adult will be accompany the group.
    • We maintain appropriate adult-to-child ratios in all activities to ensure supervision and safety.
    • The information shared of your child on this form, or in other means of communication remains confidenial amongst the program leaders. Information will be used to ensure the safety and well-being of your child and other participants, as well as for planning purposes.

    11. Art Materials & Atelier Safety

    • 100 Stories, L'Atelier uses age-appropriate and non-toxic art materials wherever possible.
    • While we aim to minimise risk, some materials (e.g., acrylic paints, glues, scissors, clay tools) may require supervision or carry mild safety risks (e.g., staining, sharp edges).
    • Children will receive safety instructions before using tools or materials and are expected to follow all staff guidance.
    • Protective aprons or smocks will be provided, but we recommend children wear clothes suitable for messy activities. 100 Stories, L'Atelier is not responsible for damage to clothing or personal items.
    • Some projects may include natural or recycled materials (e.g., cardboard, twigs, bottle caps). If your child has sensitivities or allergies, please notify us in advance.
    • In the case of accidental ingestion, eye exposure, or skin reactions, staff will administer appropriate first aid and contact parents/legal guardian immediately.
    • Parents are encouraged to inform staff if their child has sensory sensitivities to specific materials such as glue, paint textures, light or noise.
    • Parents are encouraged to inform staff of any additional needs or support their child may need to participate in the program.

    Waiver and Release of Liability

    As the parent/guardian of my child, I understand that there are inherent risks and dangers related to my child's participation in the summer program. Despite these risks-including possible personal injury, I allow my child to participate fully in the 100 Stories, L'Atelier's Summer Program. I agree to waive, release and discharge any and all claims, costs, causes of action and damages against Zenaida Féraud-Pfisterer, creator of 100 Stories, L'Atelier, program staff and volunteers or other representatives arising from or relating in any way to damage, injury, illness, loss of belongings that may occur through my child's participation in the summer program.
