Whether you’re returning to squash after a break or picking up a racket for the first time, Shropshire Squash Club offers a friendly, inclusive environment for players of all ages and abilities.
With around 150 active members, we’re one of the most established and welcoming squash clubs in the Shrewsbury area — combining great facilities, coaching, competition and a strong social scene.
A Club for Everyone
At Shropshire Squash Club, inclusivity is at the heart of what we do. We offer:
- Junior squash for young players just starting out or developing their skills
- Adult squash for beginners, improvers and experienced players
- Female-friendly sessions and social events, supporting women new to the sport as well as regular players

Regular Club Nights & Social Squash
We run relaxed and welcoming club nights every week, giving members the chance to meet others and enjoy friendly games:
- Wednesday Club Night – from 6.45pm
- Sunday Club Night – from 7.00pm
No need to organise matches in advance — just turn up and play.
Ladies Pizza & Prosecco Night 🍕🥂
Our popular Ladies Pizza & Prosecco Night takes place on the third Friday of every month.
It’s a fun, sociable evening designed to encourage women of all abilities to enjoy squash in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere — on and off the court.
Free Open Evening – Everyone Welcome
We’re hosting a free open evening for anyone interested in joining the club or trying squash for the first time.
