Rooming Policies

The retreat location has multiple-bedroom setups. Many rooms have more than one bed, and you may have roommates. Everyone will have their own bed.*

To guarantee a room with no roommates, there is an upcharge. Limited availability. 

Cancellation, Refund, and Payment Policies

By submitting this registration form, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

Refund Policy
I understand that retreat planning requires substantial non-recoverable expenses and advance commitments. While the organizer strives to be as accommodating as possible, the following refund policy applies if I cancel my registration.

More than 6 months before the retreat start date:
If I cancel my registration more than six (6) months before the retreat start date, I may receive a refund of 80% of the total retreat fee. A 20% cancellation fee will be retained to cover administrative and processing costs.

Between 3 and 6 months before the retreat start date:
If I cancel my registration between three (3) and six (6) months before the retreat start date, I may receive 50% of the total retreat fee.

Less than 90 days before the retreat start date:
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made fewer than ninety (90) days before the retreat start date.

This refund policy applies for any reason, including but not limited to illness, injury, travel delays or cancellations, airline or air traffic control disruptions, government shutdowns, weather events, personal emergencies, changes in employment, or changes in personal or professional circumstances.

Registrations are non-transferable to another year.

Transfer to Another Participant
I understand that while my registration may not be transferred to another retreat year, I may request to transfer my registration to another individual. The organizer must approve any such transfer, and may be subject to administrative requirements or fees. The organizer reserves the right to decline transfer requests at their discretion.

Failure to Attend
If I am unable to attend the retreat for any reason, I understand that my registration will be forfeited and no refund or credit will be issued.

Early Departures
No refunds will be issued for early departures from the retreat for any reason.

Event Rescheduling or Cancellation by Organizer
If circumstances beyond the organizer’s control, including but not limited to inclement weather, natural disasters, government actions, technical issues, or venue-related issues, make it impossible or unsafe to hold the retreat on the scheduled dates, the organizer reserves the right to reschedule the retreat. In such cases, my registration will be applied to the rescheduled dates.

I understand that Laura Nance is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred, including but not limited to travel costs, lodging, meals, or lost income.

If the retreat is permanently cancelled by the organizer, Laura Nance, and no replacement dates are offered, refunds will be issued for payments made, less any non-recoverable processing fees.

Travel Insurance Recommendation
I acknowledge that this retreat requires substantial non-recoverable expenses to produce and that I am strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance to protect my investment in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Payment Deadlines and Forfeiture
If my initial payment is not received by the stated due date, a $50 late fee will be assessed, with additional late fees assessed every thirty (30) days thereafter until payment is received.

If my final payment is not received by the stated due date, I understand that my registration may be cancelled, my spot forfeited, and all payments already made will be retained by the organizer without refund.

 Investment & Pricing
 
Your investment includes:

• All retreat sessions
• In-house food from the Sunday evening Welcome Session through Wednesday morning breakfast.
• Snacks are set out throughout the day on Monday and Tuesday.
• Lodging from Sunday afternoon through Friday afternoon

What other expenses should I plan for, other than the retreat cost and travel to the retreat location?

• Meals and snacks outside the above retreat-scheduled food.
• Alcoholic beverages
• Ice cream - IYKYK
• Optional activities outside of the retreat schedule
• Travel from the airport to the retreat location (if applicable)

September Retreat Payment Schedule
A $800.00 registration fee is due upon registration. 
March 20: $500.00 due. A $50.00 late fee will be applied to all late payments, with an additional $50.00 fee for every 30 days. 
June 22: Final payment of $500.00 due. If I fail to pay the final balance by June 22, I will lose my spot at the retreat without a refund of the funds already paid.

October Retreat Payment Schedule
A $800.00 registration fee is due upon registration.
April 20: $500.00 due. A $50.00 late fee will be applied to all late payments, with an additional $50.00 fee for every 30 days.
July 22: Final payment of $500.00 due. If I fail to pay the final balance by June 22, I will lose my spot at the retreat without a refund of the funds already paid.

Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

By registering for and participating in this retreat, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

I understand that participation in this retreat is voluntary and may involve inherent risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to, illness, injury, accidents, falls, muscle strains, emotional distress, exposure to weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances that may occur during travel to and from the retreat, while staying in shared accommodations, or while participating in retreat activities.

I understand that I am solely responsible for arranging my own travel to and from the retreat location. I acknowledge that the retreat organizer does not arrange, provide, supervise, or assume responsibility for transportation or travel-related decisions, and that travel delays, cancellations, or disruptions are outside the organizer’s control.

I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in the retreat, whether known or unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, and whether they arise from my own actions, the actions of other participants, or the general nature of group activities.

I understand that I am not required to participate in any activity that exceeds my personal comfort level, physical ability, or emotional capacity, and I agree to take responsibility for my own decisions regarding participation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree to release, waive, and hold harmless Laura Nance Education & Coaching, LLC, its owner, employees, contractors, and affiliates from all claims, demands, losses, damages, or liabilities arising out of or related to my participation in the retreat, including claims based on ordinary negligence or carelessness. This release does not apply to gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

I acknowledge that I am responsible for my own health, safety, and well-being before, during, and after the retreat. I understand that the retreat organizer does not provide medical insurance or medical care, and I am responsible for any medical or personal expenses that may arise from my participation.

I confirm that I have had sufficient opportunity to read and understand this agreement, and that by registering for the retreat, I am giving my informed and voluntary consent to these terms.
