Financial Assistance for Volunteer Training
  • Financial Assistance for Volunteer Training

  • Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida understands the important role our adult volunteers play in the lives of Girl Scouts. We are committed to helping adults have access to training and learning opportunities, which are key components to being an effective role model and leader for girls.

GSSEF is offering Volunteer Training Financial Assistance to adult members who are currently Volunteers with an approved background check. Registered adult volunteers may receive up to $50 per Girl Scout year for training opportunities. The Girl Scout membership year runs October 1 - September 30 annually.

Examples of adult volunteer training opportunities include: Troop Camp Training (aka. TCT), Canoeing, Archery, First Aid/CPR and enrichment opportunities. Financial Assistance that is granted for training not sponsored by GSSEF is paid directly to the provider.
