A copy of your sacramental papers, including Baptismal Certificate (for any Christian religion), your Confirmation Certificate (Catholic only), any ordination papers (for any religion), & excardination papers (for Catholics only A copy of any educational degrees or certifications you've received from college, graduate school, or from vocational or technical schools. Any and all College transcripts, graduate school transcripts, or continuing education classes (if they are in theology or a similar field Any certificates for ministerial competencies or accomplishments.
Once the application is received, you will receive a link to follow in order to take an online personality test. We will share the results with you once the test is complete. This is not a formal psychological evaluation. It is just a tool to help us understand your way of engaging the world and may be helpful in determining what ministries you are best suited for.

One must be 21 or older in order to be ordained to the priesthood. However, applicants to ordination may be 18 with the intention of attending seminary so they are prepared for ordination at 21.
Applicants to the Benedictine Order who are not seeking ordination, must be 18.
All applicants must have a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Once accepted into the program, applicants are required to take an entrance exam for seminary. This is only to determine placement. Once an applicant is accepted into the Vocations Process, they are also accepted into St. Mary's Old Catholic Seminary.
