Ashe Humane Society for Feral Cat Colonies
This program is for Ashe County citizens willing to trap their own feral cats in their cat colony. Citizens are also responsible for getting the feral cats "to and from" appointment transport locations. While we give advice and instructions to all trappers, we can only give additional physical help to disabled citizens and senior citizens, We do not have enough volunteers to trap and transport ferals for everyone. There are very limited amount of appointments per month. All feral cats are to be trapped in humane cat traps only (no cat carriers) and are available at Ashe County Animal Control.
