Wildlife Tracking Walk

Saturday, February 28, 2026 | 10 AM-2 PM | Clinton, Maine 04927 (the home of Tracker/Host Amy Hagemeier).
Intention

This gathering is created as a space for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) to connect with nature and community. Family members including children and loved ones who do not identify as BIPOC are also welcome. We appreciate your understanding and support in honoring this intention.
Accessibility Notes:

Gathering will take place outdoors. We will have access to a bathroom. The terrain is uneven with some slope. The footing may be slippery in some places and we may be walking through deeper snow. Outdoor clothing and gear such as snowshoes are available to borrow.

I understand that participation involves a variety of outdoor activities, which may include — but are not limited to — hiking on uneven terrain and 'off-trail', being outdoors in cold weather conditions, and traveling on unfamiliar landscape varying distances from shelter.

I acknowledge that these activities carry inherent risks, including the possibility of personal injury, illness, property damage, or other hazards associated with wilderness travel and group learning environments.

I understand that while instructors and staff will take every reasonable precaution to ensure safety, not all risks can be eliminated.

I confirm that I have disclosed any relevant medical or physical conditions that could affect my participation. I agree to follow all safety instructions and guidelines provided by facilitators, and I accept responsibility for my own safety and well-being during the program.

By submitting this form, I acknowledge that I am participating voluntarily and with full awareness of the potential risks involved. I release Camp Beech Cliff, BIPOC Naturalists, their staff, and volunteers from liability for any injuries or damages that may occur during the program, except in cases of gross negligence.
