Bobby Byars Foundation, Incorporated 2026 Scholarship

The Bobby Byars Foundation is proud to present the 2026 Scholarship Program. Depending on available funds, awards will be given in the form of three or more scholarships for deserving seniors, college or trade school students that are participating in programs in the 2026-2027 academic year.
SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a United States citizen.
- Must be a graduating senior (on or before June 30, 2026), college student, or trade school student.
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above on a 4.0 scale.
- Must plan to attend an accredited U.S college or trade school.
CRITERIA FOR AWARD
Recipients will be chosen based upon personal and academic achievement as well as need. The evaluation criteria will consider involvement in extracurricular school/community activities, leadership roles, honors and awards, employment, personal statement, scholastic achievement and references. All qualified students are encouraged to apply. Recipients will be notified by September 1, 2026 and award checks will be presented by November 30, 2026.
APPLICATION PROCEDURES

To be considered for the scholarship, the following items must be submitted (all items together):
- Completed Application Form - Typed or neatly printed and submitted online.
- To request an electronic version, email scholarships@bobbybyarsfoundation.org or call (402)885-9349.
- Official High School, college, or Trade school transcript should be received by March 31, 2026.
- Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or American College Test (ACT).
- Two (Signed) Letters of Recommendation from Educators, Employers, or Community Leaders.
- Completed application, photo, and ALL correspondence must be received by March 31, 2026.
