    As part of the GIRLS (Godly inspiHERation in Real Life Situations) Christian Ladies SistHERhood membership application, we require two character reference letters to be submitted on your behalf. These letters should provide insight into your character, values, and suitability for the sistHERhood.

    Reference Letter Requirements
    First Letter: Must be from a spiritual or community leader (e.g., pastor, ministry leader, nonprofit director, mentor).


    Second Letter: Must be from a non-family member who has a past history with you and can speak to your character (e.g., employer, colleague, mentor, or long-time friend).


    Each letter should include:

    • subject line: "GIRLS Membership Reference – [Your Name]"
    • Full Name, Position/Title, and Organization (if applicable)
    • How long they have known you and in what capacity
    • A discussion of your character, values, and attributes that make you a good fit for the GIRLS Christian Ladies SistHERhood
    • A signature (in ink) and contact information

  • As a committed member of the GIRLS Live! Christian Ladies SistHERhood, I agree to uphold and honor the following five covenant commitments:

    • Connect In-Person Once Monthly – Attend at least one in-person gathering for fellowship, encouragement, and growth.
    • Cultivate EACH MONTH Virtually through GIRLS Talk Blog Devotional – Engage in our virtual devotional discussions to grow spiritually and remain connected.
    • Participate in Activities at the Annual GatHER – Meet Collective Fundraising requirements, and be present and active in our annual gathering to strengthen our sistHERhood.
    • Commit to Membership Intake/Induction – Complete the membership intake and induction process as a formal commitment to the sistHERhood.
    • Participate in Who inspiHER Positive Change Weekend – Support and take part in our transformative weekend dedicated to empowering and uplifting one another.
    • Pay my Annual membership financial assessment -in the amount of $250 for year 1 and $175 for subsequent years (due by March 30)
