This form is intended for individuals or organizations that wish to host, or already regularly host, First Friday events as part of the monthly art and culture night held at the beginning of each month.
By completing this one-time registration form, you are giving Watauga Arts Council permission to contact you and promote your First Friday events. This form collects your general information only. After submitting, you will be directed to a separate monthly event form, which you can complete as needed to share details about your upcoming First Friday events for promotion each month.
WAC promotes First Fridays through:
- WAC's Social media accounts (approximately 3.6k followers on both Instagram and Facebook), with posts shared collaboratively with the Downtown Boone account (approximately 21.7k Instagram followers).
- The WAC website
- A designated, monthly First Friday newsletter (sent to 3.2k+ subscribers with an average open rate of over 50%)
