  • 2026 MEMBERSHIP

    AMA D2 is a MX Competition Partner with the American Motorcycle Association. Motocross Competition cards are valid from January 1st through December 31st 2026. Race numbers may need to change based on advancement to a higher classification.  Numbers are based on racer classification for youth and adult competitors.  Proof of age is to be provided for all racers. Please provide at least one of the following: copy of Birth Certificate, Copy of a Student ID, copy of Drivers License, or a copy of Military ID.

    D2 MX Series - Racers must be a D2 Card Holder and complete a minimum of 6 races (3 at Field of Dreams and 3 at Raceway Park) to be eligible for year end D2MX Championship Series Awards. 

    E-Balance Bike Stacyc Series - In order to qualify for year end awards at the 2026 D2MX banquet, racers must attend a minimum of Three (3) race events at Raceway Parkand Three (3) races at Field of Dreams to be eligible for year end D2 Stacyc Series Championship Awards.

    Minor Waiver Policy for Race Practice and Race Events

    IF YOUR RIDER DOES NOT HAVE THE PROPER DOCUMENTATION THEY WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO RIDE/RACE. 

    Per Sections 1.1, 2.1 and 3.1 of the AMA Rulebook,   “No rider under the legal age of majority in the state in which the meet takes place may compete without the written consent (signature on liability releases and entry forms) of their parents or legal guardians present at the meet. An authorized adult acting on behalf of the parents or legal guardians must provide a notarized statement indicating they have been given the authority by the parent or legal guardian to be responsible for the minor during the meet. All releases and notarized statements must be forwarded to the AMA with the referee report and/or injury report. The parents, legal guardians or authorized adult must remain present while the AMA member who they are responsible for is at the meet.”

    AMA NOW REQUIRES ALL RACERS TO FILE AN ANNUAL MINOR WAIVER WITH THE AMA PRIOR TO RACING.

    Both Parents/Guardians Version (Joint Custody) — This version requires each parent/guardian to sign and submit a form individually to complete the process.

    Sole Custody Version — This version requires the parent/guardian with legal sole custody to sign and submit one form to complete the process.

    Track Rules and Policies, along with the Annual Minor Waiver filed with the AMA, will also be required. Be sure to check with each track for their specific policies and waiver requirements.

    AMA Race Waiver Needed for Each Event Below:

    Print out the TRACK Minor Waiver Form - If the form does not appear click "Download" on the file page.
    Have both parents or Legal Guardians of minor(s) fill out the form completely. (Grandparents are not considered legal guardians unless appointed by a court order.)

    IF TEMPORARY GUARDIANSHIP IS NEEDED
    Provide a separate LETTER TO BE COMPLETED stating the name of the Temporary Guardian (must be 18 years or older).  This letter must be signed, dated and notarized. No exceptions. THIS IS NOT IN PLACE OF THE ANNUAL OR TRACK MINOR WAIVERS. THIS MUST BE COMPLETED IN ADDITION TO THE ANNUAL AND TRACK MINOR WAIVERS. 

    Be sure that the both parents (Legal Guardian(s)) signs this form.
    Take it to a Notary Public and have it notarized (notary seal and stamp required) If a notary isn't open for any reason, you may use an online notary such as notorize.com
    Email or bring the notarized waiver, letter of Temporary Guardianship and a copy of the parents drivers license(s) prior to registering for a Ride Pass.

      • D2 Membership Participation Acknowledgment

        By submitting this membership application and participating in the D2 Racing Series, the applicant (and parent or legal guardian of any minor rider) acknowledges that they have read and understand the D2 Supplemental Rules, Bike Class Structure, and Minor Waiver Policy and agree to abide by all applicable rules governing the series.

        Participants understand that a current and valid membership with the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) is required to compete in any D2-sanctioned event.

        D2 Racing Series operates solely as a competition partner with the AMA to organize and promote a seasonal championship series and year-end awards program for District 2 racers.

        D2 Racing Series does not own, operate, or control the racetracks or facilities where events are held. Each venue is independently owned and operated, and all track rules, safety procedures, race operations, and facility conditions are the responsibility of the hosting track or event promoter.

        Motorcycle racing is an inherently dangerous activity. By joining D2 and participating in the series, riders voluntarily assume all risks associated with motocross racing and related activities and agree that D2 Racing Series, its officers, representatives, and affiliates are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damages arising from participation in events held at independently operated facilities.

        D2 Racing Series is organized within the State of New Jersey, though events may take place at tracks located in multiple states. Submission of this membership form constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of these terms.
