  • Thank you for your interest! By filling out this form, you are applying for an art commission from me. When I receive your application, I'll email you a price quote and time estimate, and you can decide whether or not to go through with it.

    Below you'll find all the information about prices, terms & conditions and the process. Just to make sure you and I both know what we're in for. 

    If you have an idea that doesn't strictly fit within the categories I've set, or you're just unsure which one it falls under, you can always send me an email and I can have a look.

  • By sending in this form, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions below.

    • The rates presented on my social media are for personal use only. If you want to use my art for commercial purposes, an additional licensing fee will apply. Please contact me via email to discuss the specifics.
    • I reserve the right to refuse any commission request at my discretion if I’m uncomfortable with the subject or for whatever reason feel like it does not suit me.
    • Please be aware that the stylized art I make isn't always suitable to capture the perfect likeness of a real-life person. I can only ever promise an approximation, so if a perfect likeness is what you're going for, you may want to find an artist who draws realism.
    • I don't work freelance full-time, so I only have limited time each week to work on commissions and reply to emails. Please be patient.
    • For regular commissions, I’ll send you several updates throughout the process for you to give feedback on. Please try to address all necessary corrections as early as possible. A total of five rounds of adjustments are included in the price. Should you find more adjustments are necessary after that, there will be an additional charge of €5 per round. 
    • For skeb/surprise commissions, you will not receive any updates for feedback. Once payment has been received, I'll make your artwork from start to finish and then send it to you, with no possibility for alterations - with the exception of any genuine mistakes I might have made in interpreting your character.
    • You’ll receive a digital high resolution PNG file of your commission. If you'd like a different file type, or a version with a transparent background, you can always ask! Prints are not included, but if you intend to print the art I can make a suitable pdf file for that purpose if you let me know.
    • You're welcome to have your commission printed, as long as it's for private use. Making a print to put on your wall? Of course! Making a hundred prints to sell on Etsy or uploading it to RedBubble? That's a no.
    • Once you receive the high resolution image, it's now yours to use as you see fit. If you post it online, I'd love it if you tagged me so that others know where to find me, and so I can share it from you. Just don't pass it off as your own (or someone else's) work, and don't sell it in any way.
    • Nothing made by me may be used in any blockchain-related technology, to include NFTs, cryptocurrency, or future inventions in this space.
    • Nothing made by me may be used in databases used by AI systems.
    • I will aim to finish all commissions within a month. Should I need more time, I will let you know. Because of my day job, I am currently unable to make tighter deadlines on commissions.  

  • Payment info:

    • Unless you have a Dutch bank account and can pay through direct wire transfer (ASN betaalverzoek), payment is through PayPal only.
    • Please always await my PayPal invoice before paying! That’s the best way to make sure it all goes right.
    • You can either pay the full amount at once, or split the payment into two. The first half is due up front. The second half comes after you’ve approved of the final image. I will send you the high resolution image after all payment has been received. If you choose to pay all at once, the full payment is due up front.
    • If you’d prefer to schedule payment in a different way, let me know! We can probably work something out that works for the both of us.
  • AllenVoorEef 2021 commissions process. 1 You fill out the Google Form application with all the info and references for your commission. 2 I’ll email you within a couple days with a price quote and time estimate. 3 If you agree to both, I’ll place you on the wait list (publicly visible on the Trello board) 4 Once I’m ready to start working on your commission, I’ll email you again to ask if you’re still interested and if the timing works for you. 5 If yes, I’ll send you the (first) invoice and start working on your commission after I’ve received the payment. 6 I’ll send you images of the sketch, the flat colors and the final details as I go for you to give feedback on. 7 Once the art is finished and you’ve approved it, I’ll send you the second invoice (if there’s still a payment to be made). After I receive it, I will email you your high-resolution image.

  • TIP: I naturally don't mind working on a new character design with you. However, if you want to avoid the extra design fee (up to 25% of the character price), making your own design in a picrew or the character creator of a video game goes a long way! 

  • TIP: If you have a specific composition / pose in mind, I would *love* a quick stick figure sketch as reference! You're not obligated to provide one, but if you do, they're incredibly helpful for me to make sure I'm working towards the image you want. :D
