Your essay should help the Scholarship Committee understand who you are, what you have worked toward, and how this award would make a difference in your academic journey. You may choose to discuss academic accomplishments, work experience, leadership roles, community involvement, personal challenges you have overcome, caregiving responsibilities, or other experiences that have shaped your goals and motivation. Applicants are encouraged to share any special circumstances that have influenced their educational path or required them to balance school with work, family, or other responsibilities. You may also choose to describe any challenges or hardships you have experienced, such as financial hardships, housing instability, balancing school with work or caregiving, or other circumstances that have influenced your path. Applicants who have previously received a TAAHP Foundation Scholarship and are applying again should also describe how prior scholarship support impacted their education and progress toward their goals.
