Proceeds from this pageant will go to the Bonifay Police Department and Bonifay K8.

The Holmes County Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the 2026 Miss Trailblazer pageant. The winners of this pageant will represent the Bonifay Down Home Street Festival at the event on March 21, 2026. Winners ARE required to attend. We also strongly reccommend riding in the Rodeo Parade on October 2 or 3, 2026. 

The winners will be provided with a sash, crown, and T-shirt to represent the festival.

Contestants must live in a 100 mile radius of Holmes County, FL.

If you have ever had a pageant title revoked, for whatever reason, you must advise the pageant director before submitting this application.

Attire

Attire for all contestants will be sportswear or Sunday best! Show us your personal style. Don't over think it. We want your contestant to feel comfortable and confident. All age appropriateness rules must be followed. For example: No bare midriff, swimsuits, or age inappropriate outfits. No wigs or hair pieces for contestants in Baby - Tiny Miss. Judges will be advised of these terms. Please make sure your child comes dressed with hair and makeup completed. There will be no onsite hair and makeup or dressing rooms available due to space.

Walk

Pop instrumental music will be playing throughout the competition.

Baby - Tiny: Walk of choice
Little - Miss: Walk of choice 
Scores will be based on onstage performance.

People's Choice / Trailblazer Service

There will be a People’s Choice Award Winner in each age category. This has no effect on the overall winners. The contestants from each age category that collects the most money will win the People’s Choice. Contestants can collect money BEFORE the pageant day. Funds raised can be turned in at check in. There will be a people's choice table open thoroughout the pageant. All people's choice donations must be submitted prior to the end of the Miss Competition. The overall people's choice winner for Baby-Tiny and Little-Miss will be awarded the Trailblazer Service Titles.

The Little Miss Trailblazer Service title will be awarded to the contestant in the Baby - Tiny Miss Categories that raises the most donations.

Miss Trailblazer Service Queen title will be awarded to the contestant in the Little - Miss Categories that raises the most donations.

Both queens will reign alongside their sister queens.

We do not double crown.

If you want your score sheet mailed to you, please bring a self-addressed stamped envelope to the pageant and drop it off when you sign in or pay $5 and we’ll do it for you! WE WILL NOT ACCEPT SCORE SHEET REQUESTS AFTER CHECK IN. 

Please sign the contract and submit with your application. if you are not crowned, the contract will be discarded immediately following the pageant.

Queen's Contract

If applicant is not crowned, this application will be discarded.

 

As a reigning Miss Trailblazer Queen, you will be expected to follow certain guidelines and rules throughout the year. Please read the following contract carefully and sign at the end Should a queen fail to comply, she or her guardians will be expected to relinquish her title, crown and sash, to the first runner-up. (Certain circumstances will be excused) Reigning queens must dress appropriately at all appearances. Reigning queens will not wear shorts at public appearances unless approved by the director. All skirts and dresses must be an appropriate length. No halter tops, cut off-shirts, or strapless shirts allowed. No shorts or jeans of any type should be worn above the knee unless previously approved by the director. Failure to comply will result in a verbal warning from the director. Should a reigning queen continue to be noncompliant, she will be expected to relinquish her title, crown and sash, to the first runner-up. Reigning queens must behave appropriately at ALL times. This includes times when not at a public event or function (This includes on-line as well). Should a reigning queen fail to comply she will be expected to relinquish her title, crown and sash to the first runner-up. Queens must use the same code of conduct online and on social media as if she is in public representing her crown. ANY form of bullying, including cyber, WILL NOT be tolerated. This includes but is not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, My Space, Snapchat, Tik Tok etc. The first offense will result in immediate disciplinary action which will result in loss of the Title holder’s crown. Drama in any form, either during or after the pageant, in the form of verbal, cyber, media, etc. will not be tolerated. This includes but is not limited to verbal abuse or physical abuse against another contestant, parent, director or pageant. The following are grounds for relinquishing a title: Inappropriate behavior while at a function, underage drinking and smoking, swearing in public, arrest, suspension from school or bus, expulsion from school, not complying with mandatory functions, bad attitude about anything or anyone related or associated with the Miss Trailblazer Pageant, Down Home Street Festival, or Holmes County Chamber of Commerce or any form of bullying. If you fail to complete your reign you will no longer be eligible to compete in the Miss Trailblazer Pageant again. It is expected that not only the reigning queen behave appropriately, but the parents/guardians as well. Remember parents, you are your child’s first role model. Insurance Liability Waiver

By participating in the Miss Trailblazer Pageant, you (and, if you are a minor, your parents or legal guardians) understand and assume all risks of injury which may occur while competing in the above named pageant, and all of its activities, organized by the Holmes County Chamber of Commerce, Miss Trailblazer Pageant board, and host location Bonifay K8 school. You also hereby release the Holmes County Chamber of Commerce, Miss Trailblazer Pageant Committee and, Pageant volunteers, actions of other people including, but not limited to, participants, spectators, event officials, and participating sponsors and any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agencies, and (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Pageant (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory.You attest that you are in good physical condition and capable of participating in the above-named pageant.
