I realize that any misrepresentation of facts may result in my losing the privilege of fostering an animal for ARVSS.
I understand that rescue animals do not come trained, and they will need basic obedience training, patience and love to become the pet they are meant to be.
I agree to maintain this animal as a valued member of my family while it is in my care. The animals will sleep inside, eat quality food and will have access to fresh clean water at all times.
I understand that I may need to transport my foster animal to the vet clinic for surgeries and appointments, I will do my best to administer medication as directed, and attend Meet & Greet events to promote the adoption of my foster animal.
I agree to confine the animal to my property while the animal is in my care. This may include a fenced yard, leash or time out for short periods of time.
I understand my references will be checked, including veterinary and personal.
I authorize verification of all statements in this application.
I authorize my veterinarian to release any information requested by ARVSS.
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the rescue against any losses, lawsuits, claims, injury, damages incurred by me or to any persons or property by my fostered pet while in my care.
I understand that if I am no longer able to care for my foster pet, I will be directed to return the animal to an appropriate ARVSS foster or vet clinic.
I understand that ARVSS has the right to deny my request to foster an animal for any situation, in violation of any state or local ordinances, or that is not in the best interest of the animal, as determined by ARVSS.
