By completing registration, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Assumption of Risk
Participation involves inherent risks including injury, collision, or property damage. You assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with participation.
2. Release of Liability
You release Bodhi Beach Volleyball, College of Marin, clinic staff, volunteers, and sponsors (the “Released Parties”) from any claims, damages, or liability arising from participation, including ordinary negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by California law.
3. Parent/Guardian Consent (for Minors)
If the participant is under 18, a parent or legal guardian confirms they allow the child to participate, assume all risks, and release the Released Parties from liability. The parent/guardian also agrees to indemnify the Released Parties for any claims arising from the minor’s participation.
4. Medical Authorization
You authorize emergency medical treatment if needed and accept responsibility for any medical costs.
5. Media Release
You grant permission for your likeness (or your child’s) to appear in photos or video taken during the clinic, for promotional or educational purposes, without compensation and without time limitation.
6. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by California law.
You agree to all terms above.
If registering a minor, you are the parent/legal guardian and accept all terms on their behalf.
