NOTE: IF YOU ARE RUNNING FOR STATE OR NATIONAL POSITIONS, SUBMIT DURING 4TH QUARTER (MARCH 16 - JUNE 1). IF YOU ARE RUNNING FOR A CLUB POSITION, YOU MAY SUBMIT NOMINATION AT ANY TIME. Note: Nominees who have not yet met the minimum fundraising nomination threshold may still run for office. If the fundraising obligation has not been fulfilled within one week of election day, the fundraising status "In Progress" will be noted on the election ballot.
- Any elected nominee who does not ultimately meet the required fundraising threshold within 7-14 days post election is not eligible to serve in the elected position. In such cases, the VMA Board will review eligible candidates and appoint a candidate deemed fit for the position or leave the position vacant.
- To begin fundraising, visit the Sweet Sounds of Service campaign and click “Start a Fundraiser.” Alternatively, family and friends may make donations in your name directly through the campaign page.
