Clone of STEAM Scholarship Form

Southern Ohio Cleanup Company (SOCCo) will award $10,000 in scholarships to graduating high school seniors in Jackson, Pike, Ross, and Scioto counties who have parent/guardian or grandparent who works for SOCCo. The student must be pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) fields or entering a program for a career in the trades.

SOCCo's mission is to create opportunities for area students to excel in STEAM disciplines.

Eligibility

STEAM Scholarship - must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and be accepted into an accredited college or university with a declared major in a STEAM field.

Trades Scholarship - must have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher and entered in a vocational, apprenticeship or certificate program.

Ten scholarships, each valued at $1,000, will be awarded to deserving students. These scholarships are nonrenewable.

Two Letters of Recommendation: These should come from either a community member or faculty member who can attest to your academic abilities and/or extracurricular activities.
Transcripts: Submit your high school transcript and your College Credit Plus/Dual Credit transcript if applicable.
