To support the Irish Warmblood community, the Sport Mare Inspection price has been reduced in 2026.
What do you get for your fee?

You will receive the following services with the Sport Mare Inspection:
- An assessment of your mare's pedigree and damline.
- An evaluation of her gaits and athletic traits.
- An inspection suitable for her sport discipline of showjumping, eventing, or dressage.
- A laminated Sport Mare Inspection Report.
- As a WSI Approved Mare, eligibility to compete at the Dublin Horse Show (4- to 6-year-olds) and in the DAFM Studbook Series (5- to 7-year-olds).
- Eligibility for DAFM National Breeding Services Grant Schemes.
- Up-to-date details of your mare's ownership, EPRN, food chain status, etc. in the DAFM Central Database and WSI's secure database.
- Free Active Membership for three years with the right to vote at WSI Annual Meetings on proposed revisions to Studbook Rules and Breeding Program.
- Eligibility to join the WSI Accredited Breeders Program.

TERMS & CONDITIONS AND SIGNATURE
I give my consent to WSI to obtain, record, and store information about my name, postal address, email address, telephone number, and Equine Registered Premises Number.

I understand that to comply with the law WSI must obtain, record, and store information about my horse’s performance tests and genetic tests. I understand that WSI is required by law to publish this information.

This information will be held by WSI in perpetuity to promote the development of the Irish Warmblood breed. I irrevocably grant WSI ownership of my mare’s DNA sample and DNA profile, and the right to use her DNA sample and DNA profile for any lawful purpose. I am aware that the results of WFFS1 andother genetic testing may be shared with the DAFM National Breeding Services programme for research purposes.

I irrevocably grant WSI authorisation to use for any lawful purpose all DNA samples and DNA profiles for my mare held by other parties. I give WSI permission to obtain and use the DNA profile of the mare, her dam, and her sire, and I authorize the studbooks that control the DNA profile of these horses to share them with WSI.

For the sole purpose of payment for an inspection, I consent to WSI obtaining my credit/debit card details for one-time processing of the fee. I understand that the credit/debit card details will not be recorded or stored by WSI.

I understand that I have the right to access my information held by WSI, to have any inaccuracies corrected. Except if precluded by legislation, I have the right to have my personal information deleted, and to restrict the sharing of my information.

I understand that I can withdraw this consent at any time by emailing the Studbook Administrator at admin@irish-warmblood.com and communicating my withdrawal of consent.
