  • Canadian Parents for French (CPF) is a national network of volunteers that values French as an integral part of Canada and which is dedicated to the promotion and creation of French as a Second Language learning opportunities for youth in Canada. 

    CPF NWT is delighted to present the 2026 Concours d’art oratoire, the largest French public-speaking event for Gr. 7-12 students studying French as a Second Language (FSL) in the NWT. The 2026 NWT Concours d'art oratoire will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2026 in Yellowknife.

    Concours d’art oratoire Regional semi-final is organized by Canadian Parents for French (NWT). 

    Students from Grades 9 through 12 studying French as a Second Language in NWT schools participate in the following four categories: Core, Post-Intensive, Immersion and Francophone.  Students in Grades 7 through 12 participate in the competitive Traditional Concours format for cash and prizes!
