Field Trip Booking Policies

Thank you for booking a field trip at Pirate Adventures, we're looking forward to celebrating with you. This includes 30 minutes of pre-boarding activities and an hour and 15 minute cruise aboard the Sea Gypsy. Children will each receive a loot bag full of treasure during the cruise.

Ticket price is $21 pp/$17 for children ages 2 and under.

Your deposit is refundable for any reason up to seven days prior to your trip. The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel after the one week window unless Pirate Adventures has to cancel in the unfortunate event of bad weather.

Pirate Adventures will cancel your trip in the event of thunderstorms, heavy downpour, or very high winds. Pirate Adventures will not cancel in the event of cold or grey weather, showers, drizzle, passing thunderstorms, or excessive heat. Guests should be prepared to be outdoors for two hours in changing weather conditions.

Cancellations will be made by Pirate Adventures two hours before check in time on the day of the scheduled trip. Cancellations will not be made the day before based on a forecast. We will use actual weather conditions on the day of the trip to make a final decision on weather cancellations. Should we deem it appropriate to sail and you choose not to arrive for your scheduled trip a refund will not be issued.

We cannot be responsible for transportation cancellation policies. If you are contracting with a transportation company you should check cancellation policies or have a back up plan for travel in the unlikely event that Pirate Adventures cancels your trip on the day of the event. Weather cancellations will not be made the day before in any circumstance.

If Pirate Adventures cancels your trip on the day of your event you will receive a full refund or you can choose to reschedule your field trip.

In order to provide you and your guests with the best experience we aim to pull the boat off the dock at the scheduled time. Groups who are late arrivals may have to skip the pre-boarding activities. Please allow ample time for travel and traffic. The boat ride cannot be extended for late arrivals and the boat will return to the dock at the scheduled time.

We can accomodate up to 45 passengers on a sailing time. If you have booked over 45 passengers your group will be divided into two sailing times with one group on the boat and one group remaining in the building. Groups with less than 25 passengers on a sailing time may be combined with anothe field trip or the general public.

You can change your package to allow for a change in the number of guests up to a week prior to your trip. Final payment is due one week prior to the trip, refunds will not be given after the one week deadline unless Pirate Adventures cancels your sailing time on the day of your trip.
