The Arts in Black Exhibit is presented in partnership with the 40th Annual Arts in Black Festival in Tifton, Georgia, and serves as a celebration of Black creativity, history, and cultural impact. This exhibit honors the artistic contributions of Black artists across generations and mediums.
The exhibit will feature artwork by local and regional Black artists alongside selected works by Black artists from the Georgia State Art Collection, creating a dialogue between community-based expression and statewide artistic heritage.
Submissions should reflect the artist’s unique perspective, lived experience, and creative vision, and may explore themes of identity, history, culture, resilience, and celebration.
By participating, artists become part of a landmark cultural event that uplifts Black artistry and commemorates 40 years of the Arts in Black Festival’s impact on the Tifton community and beyond.
