VENUE & BOOKINGS
- Complimentary venue hire.
- Private hire (exclusive use): Min 100 guests or minimum spend equivalent.
- Buffet bookings: Min 50 guests.
- Event times: 11:30am–2:30pm / 5:30pm–9:00pm. Extended hire to 11:00pm by arrangement.
DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS
- 50% deposit required to secure date.
- Final balance: Due 5 working days prior (7 working days for private hire).
- Cancellations:
- Standard: <7 days = deposit forfeited; <72 hrs = full charge.
- Private: <14 days = deposit forfeited; <7 days = up to 100% of booking cost.
- Booking is confirmed once deposit is received and T&Cs acknowledged
- Final guest numbers and menu choices must be provided at least 5 working days prior
LONG TERM BOOKINGS 6+ MONTHS
- Quotes & menus are indicative only.
- Final menus & pricing confirmed 6 months prior.
- Pre-payments applied as credit toward final invoice.
- Pricing may change due to seasonal or supplier factors.
BUFFET & SERVICE
- Guest Minimum: 50 for buffet service
- Service Standards: Dedicated staff manage portion control for proteins
- Tableware: One set of plate, cutlery & napkin per guest
- Client Contributions: Additional items (e.g., cooked prawns) are welcome; we will platter and present these at no extra charge
- Disposable Tableware:
- Large Plates – $2 each
- Bowls & Cups – $0.50 each
OFFSITE CATERING
- Collection: (Standard): Pick up from Café Ariki in disposable trays, no extra charge.
- Drop & Go: Delivery in disposable trays to your venue. Subject to availability. Delivery fees apply.
- Formal Offsite Service:
- Food served in our kumete platters & bowls
- Minimum 2 staff for setup, service, and pack-down
- Minimum 1 hour setup
- Staff charged $50 per hour per staff member
BYO CAKE
- Bring your own cake at no extra charge.
- Plate with spoon - $0.50 per person, or bring your own.
- Optional scoop of ice cream $3/plate — makes your cake extra special!
BYO DECORATIONS
- NO CONFETTI OR GLITTER
- Balloons, backdrops, and garlands welcome
- Access for decorating: During closed hours; time confirmed prior to your event
- Please advise in advance if you plan to decorate — unarranged access may not be granted
