Lawrence, Labor, and the Promises of the Revolution
Lawrence, Labor, and the Promises of the Revolution is a 10-week visual arts program for Merrimack Valley high school students at Essex Art Center that explores the legacies of the American Revolution through the lens of the Industrial Revolution in Lawrence. Students will work closely with teaching artists and historians to create a series of zines to be exhibited at Essex Art Center and Lawrence History Center, and distributed for free throughout Lawrence. We are pleased to receive applicants with roots in the community and its surroundings. We aim to create a diverse group of people with a multitude of valued perspectives. Any questions? Email gabriel@essexartcenter.org.
