Dear Parents and Players of Blueberry Community Fun Ball,
Welcome to the 2026 season of Blueberry Fun Ball. The registration fee for Fun Ball is $50 per player + $200 volunteer deposit per family due at the time of registration (deposit will be returned once the volunteer commitment has been met).

This is a program run by volunteers, please consider how you might be able to help make the year a success!

Equipment
Each player should come dressed for the weather with a ball glove and water bottle to each practice/game. Please wear long pants, lace-up shoes (running shoes or cleats -no metal cleats), and remove jewellery.
Schedule
Birth year is used to determine the day of play.
Thursday 2021-2017 birth years
Tentative Plan: 2021-2020 (4-5 year olds) 6:30pm-7:30 pm
Learn to Play (tee)
2019-2017 (6-8 year olds) 6:30-7:30 pm
Learn to Play (coach pitch and tee)
Games to be determined
Some travel may be required to Muir Lake
Wednesday 2016-2009 birth years
Tentative Plan: 2016-2014 (9-11 year olds) 6:30pm-8:00pm
Practices (Learn to Play with players learning to pitch)
Games will be arranged
Travel to Muir Lake may be required
2013-2009 (12-16 year olds) Games start at 7pm
(additional practices as decided by the coach)
2009-2008 birth years are also allowed in the 18+ league with a signed under age waiver. Please inquire for info on the 18+ league: baseball@blueberryhall.com
Practices will begin April 15/16 (weather permitting) and the last day of play is June 17/18. Games will not begin until after May 1st. A schedule will be provided once the teams are set.
After registration is complete, you will be contacted by your team coach prior to April 13th. If you have not been contacted by April 13th, please contact Nicole at baseball@blueberryhall.com.
Tournament
The Children’s Sports Weekend is tentatively booked for June 13-14 at Meridian Sports Park. This is a fun tournament for all players to participate in and coincides with Parkland Soccer. Details to come.
Pitching Clinic and Ball Fundamentals (2016 and older)
Saturday, April 25, 2026
1:00-3:00 pm at Blueberry Hall (weather permitting)
Cost $8.00 (each participant will receive a practice ball)
Sign up for the Clinic with your registration!
Available for those registered in Parkland Fun Ball who are 9-16 years of age (birth years 2016-2009)
*In the event of inclement weather, the clinic will be rescheduled for Sat. May 23th
Other Information
Dogs are not permitted in any school yard, public park or ball diamond within Parkland County. This is a Parkland County By-law. Fines start at $60.00. We ask that you keep your pets at home for all practices and games. Thank you for your cooperation
