Junior Auxiliary of Gulfport Scholarship Application (2025-2026 year)

Junior Auxiliary of Gulfport is a non-profit organization whose members are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for Harrison County area children and their families. Recognizing education is a means of improving quality of life, we are awarding scholarships to qualified students from the following high schools: Gulfport, Long Beach, Pass Christian, Harrison Central, and West Harrison. We also invite students to apply who reside in our service area and attend MSMS, CCA, Temple Christian Academy, or are home-schooled. These scholarships will be given directly to the student’s college of choice to assist in pursuing educational goals past high school. Scholarships are awarded based on the applicant’s qualifications. This year we will be giving out 6 scholarships for $4,000 each. As a service organization, we pay special attention to community service efforts. Students who have demonstrated active involvement in community service efforts through school, church and other service-oriented events are ideal applicants. In addition to service efforts, applications will additionally be reviewed by a committee of Junior Auxiliary members and points are assigned based on academic achievement, with sensitivity to need.

ALL application materials (application & recommendation letters) MUST be received by Monday, February 9, 2026 by end of school day.
