We see them as the cornerstone of our community, and our goal is to highlight their importance to everyone who calls this area home. The strong sense of community we’ve built together is evident in the ongoing support for the Chamber and the businesses we serve. By working together, we continue to foster a vibrant, interconnected place for all to enjoy.

    Membership fees are based on the number of employees at the local location.  The basic membership includes one voting delegate.  Each additional $100 in dues entitles the business to an additional voting delegate.

  • Review the Membership Schedule to determine the number of voting delegates alloted to your organization

    Nominate Candidates: Choose the individuals from your organization who you wish to have represent your organization on the Board of Directors. Be sure to select names in accordance with your organization's guidelines or bylaws for such nominations.

    If you choose not to nominate anyone, simply indicate that with N/A or provide no names, in which case you will receive a ballot for voting purposes only.

    • Company Logo
    • Business Name
    • Physical Address
    • Public Phone Number

    If you'd like to include additional information in your organization's listing, please feel free to provide it, and we will update your entry accordingly.

  • Streetlamp Banner Program for Local Business Promotion

    • Visibility: Promote your business by displaying your company name and logo on streetlamp banners.
    • Quality & Durability: Banners are made from high-quality materials that last for years and are displayed year-round, with exceptions for special city events.
    • Annual Updates: Banners will occasionally be rearranged to keep the program fresh, unless you request otherwise.

    Pricing:

    • Chamber Members:
      • Initial cost: $150
      • Annual renewal: $50
    • Non-Chamber Members:
      • Initial cost: $200
      • Annual renewal: $100
    • Customized Artwork:
      • Additional charges apply for custom designs, handled on a case-by-case basis.
    • Multiple Banners:
      • Available upon request.

  • We are excited to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States this year.  Our goal is to have a full day of family fun throughout town, ending with a fireworks show visible across Carmi—bringing everyone together and keeping the celebration local.

    To make this happen, we’re asking Chamber members to consider pledging a portion of their 2026 marketing or community support budget to help fund the fireworks and festivities. Your support will help restore a beloved tradition and make this historic Independence Day truly special.
