  • 2026 Street Banner Application Honoring Nutley Veterans

  • Mayor John V. Kelly III and the Nutley Board of Commissioners and the Military & Veterans Bureau in partnership with the American Legion Post 70 and VFW Post 493 are proud to announce the 2026 Nutley Hometown Hero Banner Program!

    The Honoree must be:

    1. Nutley resident family member of someone who served or serving in the US Armed Forces.
    2. Nutley resident Veteran or Active Service Member in the US Armed Forces.
    3. Nutley or Bellville family member of veteran who served prior to 1902.

  • *Please note that it is on a first come first serve basis & the banners will be up from May 1st until the 4th of July.

    PHOTOGRAPH

    Please provide a good quality photograph in Uniform that we will be able to scan, or upload below.  Preferably an 8 X 10 color picture if possible.

    If unable to upload photo, please bring photo along with payment to the Department of Public Affairs and Health Office.

  • The banners will be approximately 20" wide by 40" high. Each banner will be hung at a location determined by our Department of Public Works. Each banner will cost $85.00.

    Please make your check payable to: American Legion Post 70
