NEIBA is delighted to host the 2026 Owners’ Retreat!  This event will take place March 24-25, 2026 at the Wentworth by the Sea Resort in New Castle, NH.

This event is open to 40 owners and co-owners from NEIBA member bookstores. Please be sure to register individually so we that we can keep track of attendee numbers.  If you will be accompanied by a non-owner spouse or partner during your stay at the resort, please let us know.  As usual, we’ll try to include both owners and guests in our dinner seating, but depending on store owner attendance we can’t guarantee we can include guests for that meal.  We’ll be sure to let everyone know about dinner logistics as soon as registration has closed.

Lisa Uhrik, co-owner of Franklin Fixtures and owner of Plenty Downtown Bookshop in Cookeville, TN will join attendees for a seminar on the intersection of HR and merchandising. Everything that Lisa does is magic, and it's a wonderful opportunity to have her with us in a small-group setting.  We'll have other guests and programming, all to be announced as the event approaches.  

Owners who successfully reserve a spot will receive a confirmation e-mail from the NEIBA office that contains a hotel booking link.  All others will receive an e-mail confirming their place on the waiting list.

Attendees must reserve and pay for their own lodging. All meals and other retreat activities are sponsored by NEIBA. There is a $50 registration fee.
