We are so excited to host the Riverway Annual Chili Cook-off benefitting Student Ministries on Sunday, February 1, 2026.
This year, we are asking everyone to pick a team name and an optional theme for their chili. Each team will have their own 6-foot-long table to decorate and to display their unique spin on this time-tested and beloved dish, while everyone samples and votes on their favorites!
Award categories will include: Best Theme, Most Original, and Best Tasting. Each winner will receive a prize.

We are asking that everyone make their chili using about 5 lbs. of their main ingredient so that all can enjoy. Please bring it to the Student Life Center in a crockpot from 10:15 - 10:45 a.m., ahead of the services, and decorate your table. The Chili Cook-Off will take place at 12:30 p.m. *We will provide bowls, utensils, and chips.
In benefit of Student Ministries, attendees/voters will be able to purchase "chili bucks" that will allow them to taste and cast their votes. Please bring a jar or basket for voters to place their "chili bucks" into as they vote. *All proceeds will go to Student Ministries. We will also have a featured Student Ministries Chili and the delicious Student Ministries Lemonade available for sale.
