Bikini Wax – A bikini wax removes hair along the sides of the bikini line, typically anything that would show outside a standard swimsuit bottom. The skin is first cleansed, and a pre-wax solution is applied. Hard wax or soft wax may be used depending on your skin type. The wax is applied in small sections and removed quickly to extract hair from the root. A calming post-wax treatment is applied to reduce any redness or irritation.
Bikini French Wax – A Bikini French wax removes more than a traditional bikini wax but less than a Brazilian. Hair is removed along the bikini line and further inward, leaving a thin strip or triangle in the front. It does not include removal between the cheeks. The skin is cleansed and prepped before waxing, and hard wax is typically used for more sensitive areas. Post-wax soothing gel or serum is applied to calm the skin.
Brazilian Wax – A Brazilian wax removes all hair from the front to the back, including the bikini line, labia area, and between the cheeks, with the option to leave a strip or triangle in front. The area is gently cleansed, and a pre-wax oil or solution is applied to protect the skin. Hard wax is commonly used due to its gentler effect on sensitive areas. After waxing, a calming post-wax serum is applied to minimize irritation.
Signature Brazilian – A Signature Brazilian (vaginal facial) is performed after a Brazilian wax and is designed to care for the skin in the intimate area. The treatment includes a cleanse, gentle exfoliation, possible extractions of ingrown hairs, a soothing mask, and hydration. Products used are chosen for their calming, anti-inflammatory, and non-comedogenic properties, safe for delicate skin. This service supports healthy skin texture and can help reduce ingrown hairs, hyperpigmentation, and irritation.
I understand that the following are among the expected side effects of this treatment:
- Redness/Irritation: Due to the sensitivity of the area, temporary redness, swelling, or discomfort is common following the service.
- Skin Irritation: Itching, small bumps, or follicle inflammation may occur as part of the natural healing process.
- Skin Lifting: If the skin has been exfoliated recently or is especially delicate, wax may remove a layer of skin, causing sensitivity or scabbing.
- Unsatisfactory Results: Hair growing in different directions or phases may not all be removed, and some stubble may remain.
- Post-Extraction Sensitivity: Areas where ingrown hairs were extracted may feel tender or appear slightly swollen for 24–48 hours.
- Allergic Reactions: Rare allergic responses to the wax or aftercare products may include redness, itching, or rashes near the waxed area.
